Our new route runs through Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

Preliminary dates and costs for the new route (Also see the Costs and Logistics page):

Leg 1: Istanbul (Turkey) – Tbilisi (Georgia)

6/10/2012 – 6/25/2012 (16 days)
$920 USD

Leg 2: Tbilisi (Georgia) – Almaty (Kazakhstan)

6/26/2012 – 8/3/2012 (38 days)
$2170 USD
Visas required: Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan,
Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan (Approx $450).

The Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan visa should be obtained before the start of the trip, the others can be obtained on route.

Leg 3: Almaty (Kazakhstan) – Ulan Batar (Mongolia)

$1260 USD
Visas required: Kazakhstan (Approx $70), Russia (Approx $150), Mongolia (not required for citizens of United States)

The Kazakhstan and Russia visa should be obtained before the start of the trip. You might already have the Kazakhstan visa from Leg 2.

–OR– join us four days later in Gorno-Altaysk in Russia, 500km from Novosibirsk, to avoid the Kazakhstan visa. $1140 USD.

Note: prices don’t include visas.

Book two legs, get $300 USD off.
Book three legs, get $600 USD off.

The cost of the full 11-week trip is $3750 + visas. We were previously offering $4000 including visas (or $3400 + visas), as we were planning a 10 week trip. If you send your deposit before the 31st of March, we can still offer you this price.
